GENERAL SPECIFICATION OF UPHOLSTERY WORK EXECUTED IN OUR FACTORY:-
FRAMES: To make or repair frames we use only solid timbers and industrial grade plywood.
SUPPORT SYSTEMS: For consistency and quality we use machine-tensioned Warwick “Black Cat” Webbing. We cross-web and reinforce our frames to allow for the extra loadings. Where specified we use
zigzag, boxed or tied spring systems and sprung edges.
SEAT FOAMS: For all Commercial applications we use Commercial Grade Foamco 30 / 130 unless otherwise specified by the client. All seat foams are wrapped in Dacron which is permanently bonded to the foam with adhesive to ensure long-term comfort.
FEATHER AND DOWN: We stock Feather and Down for specified use in Seats or Backs.
ARMS AND FRAME COVER: Before upholstering we chemically pre-treat all foams to prevent foam-drag and uneven fit when coverings are applied.
SEAT CUSHION COVERS: ALL seat cushion fabrics are over-locked because of the higher loadings on seats.
BACK CUSHION COVERS: We over-lock all fabrics used as back cushions EXCEPT those whose method of manufacture inhibits any tendency to fray at the edges, for example,
micro suede fabrics.
FABRICS AND LEATHERS: We provide an excellent selection for our clients and accurate information and advice. You may have already chosen the cover for your project which you can either supply to us or instruct us to provide.
PRODUCTION SCHEDULES: We will work in harmony with your schedule and always meet any performance undertakings we give.
DELIVERY: Delivery will be by our own staff unless otherwise advised. Unless otherwise specified we assemble all delivered items and remove any packing materials or debris.
CARE: It is our practice to be on-time for scheduled deliveries and to take extreme care on delivery regarding potential for damage to your premises and to rigorously adhere to your onsite instructions.
WARRANTY: Warranty is 10 years on all structural components (frame, foam, webbing etc.), 5 years on reclining and sofa-bed mechanisms and 2 years on fabrics.
SERVICE: If you bought it from us – we will fix it promptly or replace with new; if you bought from someone else – we see that as an opportunity to build a relationship. Our Service Manager, Joe Portelli will be happy to assist you at any time.
CONTRACTS BIG AND SMALL: Are we interested in major contracts? Of course we are - but we will cheerfully do the little jobs for you that some will avoid. We do minor and major repairs. Call us any time you have an emergency. We will pick-up, repair and re-deliver quickly to solve your problem. All we ask in return is that you give us a crack at the big jobs when calling for quotes.
